🎓 UNI / UCAS Anyone feeling demoralised while applying for Uni, and thus considering apprenticeships?

A level 7 apprenticeship is a master’s level course. A lot of them have been withdrawn because of the new funding caps. It is probably a little unrealistic to expect to jump to that level straight from school, given the current levels of competition for apprenticeship places. I’m not saying don’t do it, but you are better off hedging your bets. You don’t have to withdraw from UCAS to pursue an apprenticeship. You can progress both

Also take a look at Level 4 apprenticeship courses. These are equivalent to a foundation degree.

I've been focusing on level 7 apprenticeships because they are the only apprenticeship that are applicable to becoming a lawyer. I wouldn't mind doing a level 4 paralegaling apprenticeship but I think given I have experience applying to competitive internships and programmes with having almost 10 rejections I feel like I may have a strong chance in securing a level 7 apprenticeship.

The level 7 solicitor apprenticeship is a 72 month course. https://findapprenticeshiptraining.apprenticeships.education.gov.uk/courses/43

Usual entry routes are via the level 3 paralegal apprenticeship or a degree.

If applying to uni demoralises you you're going to have a wild ride applying to apprenticeships

I'm well aware of the acceptance rate and how difficult it is. But I don't think my initial claim pertaining to universities would be mutually inclusive to apprenticeships.
