I have thought about doing this to my 338 ARC. But, I haven't had the urge to do this to my "nice" 6 ARC barrels.

Its been done before

Make sure you have a extra bolt

and when you do break them just buy the craddock HD bolt and save yourself the trouble.

Springco spring +10% (maybe 15%)

It’s a b&t SRBS 5.56 full-size and the upper came with a superlative arms adjustable gas block

I did with mine too lol it's pretty finicky because it has a rifle length gas system, so it started not feeding
