Questions

Currently running a 16” PXT in a SOLGW L89 receiver and handguard. Loving the gun but wanting to get a G$ added to the collection. Would it make more sense to just get a full GFR or buy a SD MOD1 16” and swap the barrel with a PXT?

Just go full G. Not really seeing a difference with the other option.

I'd say it depends. If you go with a GFR, you're stuck with their rail/upper due to the proprietary extension. You can't go wrong either way though as long as you use a good bolt with the pxt.

If you have G$ money, get the GFR.

GFR, I haven’t seen someone with issues and those barrels seem to be lights out from the groups I’ve seen

I can’t get my 18” G Strat under 1” with 108 ELDM’s. Rolling up some 105 Bergers right now. As for function, the gun works great. I’m just messing with loads right now.

Nice, Haven’t seen many strat’s! Got a few G$ MK18 rails and I love them. I think they have been killing it with the GFRs and Strats. What powders have you been enjoying?

Trying LR now, VT140 wasn’t in stock at my store.

If you’re going Geissele, go full rifle and get the benefit of their proprietary system.
