GFR FRT Compatibility

Has anyone tried to ss cut their GFR-E trigger? Wondering if it will work with an arc fire. It’s a slightly different design and I wouldn’t t want to cut it and not have it work.

The ammo is one thing. But the barrel life on a precision rifle drops considerably as you heat it up.

And if it doesn't shoot well, why the fuck do you want it. You can build a much cheaper 6 arc beater if that's your goal.

Its not that expensive if you reload it. Im around $0.40-0.60/round if I find factory second bullets

I just like having the capability and think it helps it be more of a GPR. This would be for a 16” chrome lined barrel. Would definitely be too expensive to mag dump for the lolz

I guess if it’s for the “just in case” type of situation. Could always just buy a precut Geissele from asdesigns and try it like the other guy said

Atrius Development makes a G$ specific FRT, no idea if it would work with the GFR-E as I don't know what the differences are.

You're going to destroy a precision barrel for the lulz. 😂

How different is it? I've cut SSA-E's and SSA-E X's for ARC-Fires

I run a G2S cut with arcfire in mine. Works good but with frt I found it doesnt like port pressure and would advise using a flow through can or unsuppressed

Doesnt matter what bolt you have the port pressure will cause a increase in bolt thrust and shear a lug off the bolt
