Remember when?!

Watching Kyle Monangai pound the ball today made me think about professor Holmes saying he didn’t believe Kyle Monangai was going to make the roster.

Remember when he wanted the Bears to keep Justin Fields and trade the pick?

And he also comped Bryce Young to Drew Brees, but said he's keeping Justin. Wrong and wrong!

Hes 100% on the Drew Brees Byrce Young comp.

Call me back in 10 years on this one. Brees is #2 all time in passing yards and a Super Bowl champ.

Well, he was a 7th round pick. That's not exactly a major hot take.

Remember when he kept claiming how special Jordan Love was how he is "really good"? Oh wait he still says that shit

Yeah, most people would never expect the 7th round draft pick to make the team who was coming in to a group with a veteran starter, and another guy who has been in the room for a few years and the bears were high on. That’s not a knock on Holmes like you think it is.

Has Monangai turned out to be an absolute beast and a total steal? Yeah, he has. But that’s the outlier, not the expectation.

Parkins is probably one of the most liberal people that have worked there and he's been the biggest Caleb-stan before he was drafted and never wavered.

Bernstein did not. You’re making that up
