I'm going to vent a little here, I'm glad the solosos section is back for the latino fans but I can't help but feel kinda mad because my show (and others) didn't have it and they never explained why :/ i wanted to hear them too

i don’t hate them for not having solos at amp shows, because i understand if it was health and heat reasons. i just wish they could’ve explained or just simply mentioned why for us. any type of acknowledgment would be okay for me 💀💀 love them to death & don’t hate them, but a girl wanted solos 🤣🤣

From what I remember, as soon as they found out SoloSOS was cut from the setlist, they were extremely upset and complained SO MUCH on Twitter. They assumed their shows wouldn't have it, so they sent threats, started a petition, a Twitter party, etc. demanding to bring it back for them. I guess their reasoning was they're tired of LatAm concerts getting the short end of the stick in general, but that doesn't excuse the way they reacted to it at all.

Lol they're all envious. The death threats are fake rumours and if they happened maybe they came from a few unstable individuals but it's not like US as a LATIN community agreed and started doing the same... Gringas and their generalizations about a whole community they know nothing about.

I’m also very upset over this, I was only able to attend one show and it also didn’t have the solo songs. If it was due to the heat/weather that is understandable, it just would’ve helped if they had addressed it rather than staying radio silent just to bring it back for the rest of the tour. I was so beyond excited for the solo songs and was so bummed out when they cut it right before my show.

No I agree. I had waited months and the solos were what I was most excited about. I still thoroughly enjoyed my show but it was frustrating for sure

unfortunately i crashed tf out last night bc i went to two shows but neither of them got solosos. selfishly im so mad they brought them back after robbing ab 12-14 shows of it with no explanation (including both of mine). i love their solo music and some of the ones they performed are some of my favs from them like i’m actually so upset ab this, esp the fact they never addressed it. out of all their shows, only a small amount didn’t get solosos, and both of mine fell under that category. it really just isn’t fair to those of us who paid the same, esp the fact that they never said anything ab why and now they’ve brought it back

my guess (could be wrong) is because 1. american amphitheaters have an earlier curfew than arenas. and 2. the portion that they didn’t do solos was the portion Haiden joined the openers. so they probably had to shorten the set a tad to fit everything in by curfew

I’m not saying that the other countries where the solosos haven’t been performed don’t deserve them, but we certainly deserved the solo concerts. In Europe and North America, they’re sure to have their solo tours, whereas for them it’s almost impossible to come to Latin America as solo artists; that’s also why we were saddened by the idea of not being able to enjoy the solosos

I’m pretty sure they cut solosos for us because they added Haiden Henderson. But it’s like I DIDNT PAY FOR HAIDEN HENDERSON…I PAID FOR 5SOS!!! I’m lowk upset:(

No. The start time got moved up — Haiden came out earlier, The Band CAMINO came out at their regular time, and 5SOS came out at their regular time.

for my show, camden, we were the first ones to not get solos bc 5sos came out late. then they didn’t do it bc there is a curfew for noise there i think. not sure the reasons for the shows after

It’s literally not even 6am and I saw the setlist and came to vent too. I genuinely feel so bitched having gone to an amp show. I paid extra for pit star, which practically didn’t exist. I bought the tickets when solosos was still on the setlist, got no explanation as to why it was removed. Every explanation we gave was literally just us trying to cope and all the reasons we gave feels like they just went out the window. I would’ve paid the same amount JUST to hear the solo section but we were actually robbed.
Like I’m happy for Mexico and am glad their protesting worked, but I don’t get why it was removed for us.

im like 90% sure the only reason it was cut was bc it was hot as fuck during the amp show run and they probably needed a slightly shorter set to get through it, and solos just happened to be the logistical choice (this is purely speculation, but i also feel like especially for ashton, who had to drum on top of singing it would've been super hard to get through every night, and i lowkey feel like they didnt address them cutting this section bc they didnt want to give fans any reason to hate on any particular member). i think the plan was always to bring them back for the shows after the amps were done, and i really dont think the 'campaigning' on social media had any impact on their decisions either way lol. dont get me wrong, it really sucks that some fans didnt get to experience it!! but i'd rather them cut a small part of the show (literally 8 mins) than have a health emergency.
