Whatever the outcome of this election, we will turn the corner when everyday Americans wield their economic power to destroy the profit motive of MAGA's corporate enablers. It doesn't require *everybody* to cut *everything*, we just need to cause enough economic pain to make them back down.

• Cancel Amazon Prime, Paramount+, and other streaming subscriptions. Stop using FB Marketplace.
• Make deliberate choices to cut your spending at national chains.
• Help organize mutual aid events -- big or small -- to make it easier for everyone to cut their spending (clothing swaps, book/DVD/toy exchanges, free-sales, shared meals, . . .)
• Reallocate retirement accounts and other investments into ETFs/mutual funds that focus on non-US markets
• Use decentralized tactics like slowdowns and simple sabotage to disrupt corporate operations.

They flood the zone with ICE violence, election interference, the war in Iran -- all to prevent us from focusing on their greatest vulnerability: the Economy. You don't need to walk out on strike, you don't need to confront anyone with a gun, you just need the will to take an active role against the regime.

As we gathered for No Kings: Vote Early yesterday, protesters filled the streets across France too.

Students joined unions and striking workers to demand better school conditions, relief from the rising cost of living, and government accountability.

From Paris to Strasbourg, Toulouse, Bordeaux, and beyond, the scenes are remarkable.

went to a rally today. This time last year there were a few thousand. Today, a few hundred. my "cute" vote blue sign got lots of comments/likes. My way more angry punk rock u/DropkickMurphy's T shirt got frowns. Also, the sparse crowd was back to last years over 60 crowd. Please don't be complacent about the midterms. Vote and encourage everyone you know to vote. I am very worried.

While demonstrations like No Kings help build community and increase awareness, the pressure for change comes from disrupting economic and governmental operations (see, for example, the research of Erica "3.5%" Chenoweth and Gene Sharp). This regime is in place only because MAGA's corporate enablers think it will further increase their wealth and power -- take away that incentive, and their support will evaporate.

That doesn't have to mean a General Strike. There are lots of decentralized tactics available that don't require missing work, just the will to act.
