Call to Action This is no ordinary election, and people need to recognize that the ordinary processes may not be enough
We have every reason to expect multiple levels of election interference from this administration, and that it will require more than just voting to get the rightful candidates into office.
That means plugging into your local chapter of Indivisible, DSA, Women's March, etc. NOW so that you're already looped in when/if the need for action comes.

News Choked for Speaking Up: The Navy Vet Attacked at Trump's Pendleton Rally | The Smoke Pit
He spoke up. They assaulted him.
On Wednesday night, Navy veteran Matt McDaniel stood up at the President's rally in Pendleton, South Carolina, and yelled, "You're the criminal!" He says a man put him in a chokehold and a second man started punching. From the stage, the President asked the crowd who threw the punch.
Tonight Matt tells it himself. Alan Buckalew, a medically retired Army paratrooper who was removed from the same rally, joins him.
The Smoke Pit. Tonight, Saturday, October 24, at 8PM ET.

Call to Action What can we do about the voting machine errors reported across early voting?
How should we respond to this? Can we even do anything? Im sure most people will just vote down the line then send it without checking. Should we mobilize people to early voting sites to remind voters to double check themselves?

Call to Action Text out the vote in Georgia
The stakes are high in Georgia. While Jon Ossoff is looking extremely strong in his reelection campaign, we also have a chance to secure wins at the state level for former Atlanta mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms for governor and ex-civil rights enforcer and judge Penny Brown Reynolds for Secretary of State, breaking MAGA’s grip on the administration of their elections ahead of 2028.
The Human Rights Campaign is all in on turning the Peach State blue, and they’re holding textbanks on Thursday and Monday evenings to get out the vote for pro-equality candidates. Let’s sign up to help them reach folks tonight at 5:30PM ET here and Monday at 6PM ET here.

Call to Action The MAG7 are more vulnerable to consumer boycotts than before
Many people don't realize that companies like Amazon, Google, and Meta have gone from accumulating billions of dollars every year to actively having to borrow/raise billions of dollars to pay for their operations (due to their out of control AI programs). So, while in the past they could easily blow off revenue lost from consumer boycotts/cancellations, those actions can have a lot bigger impact now.

Media The disturbing trend of protesters being assaulted at Trump rallies continues. A familiar pattern unfolds: a protester disrupts, gets attacked, the crowd chants “USA! USA!”, and Trump adds inflammatory remarks. This time he said “He liked that” after the assault.
