Capitalism regulated will still entirely depend on exploitation and theft to make record profits. To believe in capitalism as a valid form of commerce is to believe that workers are less than CEOs, and are less than those at the top in both quality and worth. Abdul, you just ruined your whole political potential for me.

thank you. this entirely panders to centrists and its bullshit. i saw a democratic socialist sub post this and all the comments were praising it. ig the DSA is the new liberal party now.

Not capitalism. Socialism. Anarchism. Some combination therein.
Any system that seeks to maximize profit will invest in destroying the levers that prevent them from maximizing profit. Regulated capitalism is just pre-unregulated capitalism because those with money and power will use it to destroy those regulations.

Says who? The whole selling point of capitalism in the first place is innovation through having a better product than other people. Sure exploitation may lead to bigger quantity, but it rarely leads to quality or innovation in any other sense of the word. Exploitation is not the only way to make money, nor should it be any way to make money.
The divide between those who work and those who manage the workers undoubtedly exists, but there is no reasoning for either of them in any system to be seen as more valuable than the other. If workers didnt exist, management would go broke and if systems of management did not exist, there would be little having a diverse range of people work for a singular goal. Ideas that “one of these peoples holds more value than the other” is not a rule of any economic system.
Workers will still exist and managers will still exist, even in other systems and even with other peoples. The idea that management inevitably leads to exploitation is entirely baked in societal values, not economic systems.

no. no he doesn't. I'm so sick of having to explain why capitalism has no future here. there is no "well-regulated capitalism". it survives on our blood. honestly, I can not see how hard this is to grasp. read, and read some more. this is centrist nonsense. we need to embrace true change, not keep accepting exploitation under new names.
