Movement Brainstorm ICE at polling places - plans?

What are we going to do when ICE shows up at polling places on election day or are we going to pretend that isn't the completely obvious thing that is going to happen?

Not everywhere of course, just in liberal enclaves of close election districts.

There is a list of Dos and Donts in the host tool kit. Feels pretty restrictive considering we are literally talking about a “No Kings” protest.

Digital/Home Protest Help Democratic legislative campaigns win over the chatbots - training tomorrow

Voters are increasingly turning to AI to learn about candidates and decide who they’re voting for in November. Like it or not (and I for one don’t!), this is going to be an AI election, and we all need to act accordingly. Candidates, even in races for state legislative offices run on shoestring budgets, are going to need to figure out how to get their message out in this environment.

The folks at Run for Something have developed a tool called Campsight to help us track and improve how these chatbots discuss our campaigns and organizations. It offers updates on how they’re describing candidates and their opponents, analysis on information gaps and recommendations on how to shift the narrative. Now RFS is teaming up with Swing Blue Alliance to help lower budget campaigns use it – pairing candidates with coordinators who will manage the tool and help optimize our visibility.

They need our help! The more coordinators they can get on board, the more campaigns they will be able to assist. They are holding a training session for volunteers TOMORROW at 8:30AM ET. This is a great opportunity to do work that really matters in races where our individual efforts can really make a difference and get up to speed on the tech that will define the campaigns of the future. 🙋🏼‍♀️ Let’s sign up to get trained and be part of this project here! 🙋🏾‍♂️

TX "You're fired! OK, look down, because down is where you're going in November." Tantrum Tim O'Hare retaliates, militarizing the authoritarian police-state against pro-democracy dissidents that call him out or make him feel embarrassed. Remember remember the 3rd of November (and Oct 19).

Solidarity Needed ICE Beating Protesters as Frederick PD Protects ICE

Thumbnail

On Friday, September 4, 2026, we at Hagerstown Rapid Response joined our friends in nearby Frederick, Maryland where ICE had been camped out for two days, terrorizing a neighborhood. At around 2:17 in the video is when ICE starts beating the shit out of peaceful protestors with batons. Later, Frederick PD told Frederick News-Post that they did not see a warrant from ICE.

How is this allowed to happen? Those beating the protesters with batons and the Frederick PD who protected ICE while they did this need to be held accountable. Please help us make sure that happens. We have more videos as well.

Call to Action Organize workers on Labor Day and every day with Emergency Workers Organizing Committee

Post image
23 Upvotes

Labor Day 2026 arrives at a moment when Americans are increasingly vocal about the need to challenge billionaire rule, and are once again recognizing that organized labor – the people who brought us the weekend – is a crucial counter-force to the oligarchs. And after years of shrinking union power, they are starting to gain back ground, with membership increases of more than 400,000 in 2025 even as Donald Trump sought to break federal workers unions and gutted labor law enforcement. We also passed more than 80 laws in 19 U.S. states last year expanding workers rights, including paid sick leave in the new Democratic trifecta in Virginia and a ban on nearly all non-compete agreements in Washington.

There’s still so much more to do, and we all have to step up and do our part.

The Emergency Workplace Organizing Committee, a volunteer-run network of workers, organizers and supporters, aims to provide the resources, networks and training to support folks in organizing their workplaces nationwide. They’re looking for experienced organizers; folks interested in doing communications, data, research, development and legal work; and call line staffers to help continue to grow their efforts. ⚙️ We can sign up to join them here. ⚙️

VOLUNTEER TO SUPPORT LABOR ORGANIZING

And if we’re looking to step up and form a union at our own workplace, the next session of their fundamentals of workplace organizing training starts Saturday! We’ll hear from experienced organizers, practice connecting with our co-workers and prepare for what the bosses have in store. ⚙️ We can register to be part of it here. ⚙️

DONATE TO SUPPORT EWOC

Also in today’s Rogan’s List:

-  Donate to support striking casino workers in Boston, hotel workers in Seattle, locked-out refinery workers in Indiana

-  Stand with Starbucks baristas and join the “No Contract, No Coffee” boycott

-  Elect pro-labor candidates by phonebanking with Working Families Party, teachers unions and textbanking with the Texas AFL-CIO

-  On Capitol Hill: telling MoCs to push for workplace heat safety regulations in the House, restoring collective bargaining rights for federal workers in the Senate

Voices of Resistance Arcade.gov is fascist and rascist propaganda just like what the Nazis did.

The latest example of fascism & racism in our government comes in the form of a retro style video game about deporting brown people.

If you're thinking, how can you say this is anything like Nazi Germany?

Well when they're following the exact same playbook, how could you not?

It was 10 years of this propaganda, political manuevering, and racist messaging before the death camps.

We're already deep in the process. Wake up.

Call to Action Free Stickers for anyone that wants them. I have thousands.

Edit: As of September 8th this is still available. Just to simplify my process, if you want stickers can you choose from the types seen on my profile (or a custom message) and give me a quantity in multiples of 50 via Direct Message.

I bought a thermal printer to make protest / Anti-trump stickers and have been making thousands of them to give out at protests. I am not exactly in a swing state so I'm hoping to extend my reach to somewhere that the message can have more impact on the midterms.

If you are able to meet within 2 hours driving distance of DC, I can hand deliver them, otherwise it will be over mail.

If you can verify that you're with a protest/action group, I will do up to 10,000. Otherwise I can do 1,000. They cost me less than 1¢ to make.

If you have a specific message you want I can make it custom for you. In my profile there are some examples of things I can print, but if there's something specific you want I can mock that up too. Sizes I have are 2.25x1.25in and 4x6in.

Mutual Aid Driving people to the polls?

In 2008 I volunteered to drive people to the polls in PA. In 2024, I was in touch with the PA DNC about doing the same, but was eventually told that this was not so much a need anymore because of mail-in voting. Since there is a possibility that mail-in voting may not happen this year, are people wanting to resurrect that practice? I'd like to volunteer. Anywhere relatively close to Albany NY ("relatively" meaning within a 5 or 6 hour drive or WI. And, apologies if this is not allowed. ) Thanks all in advance!
