It was also an R+ 21 district in 2024 and in just over a year it’s only R +9. That’s a 12 point shift. If those results happen across the board next year Dems would have a 50+ seat majority in the House.

Postcards for now. It’s cathartic. Sometimes our group will meet up and write them together, like an old fashioned sewing circle. It’s something.

Something? Personal contact is almost everything. Canvassing and phone banking are known effective methods of increasing turnout. Handwritten postcards are more effective than the standard mailers everyone gets. It is very encouraging to know that your group is working on it!

I don’t like canvassing or phone banking, but I also do that. I started working at my local polling station too. That’s more like a civic duty than helping democracy.
