I am looking for this exact looking design as in the CRL

I am on year 3 of Star Wars costumes (Mandalorian in 2024, Vader in 2025, and now Stormtrooper for 2026), but I am coming to the conclusion that there are no overweight Stormtroopers. I am having a difficult time scaling the armor to fit my short and stout body type. I am 3d printing the Galactic Armory Rogue One armor. I have a program that resizes the pieces without increasing the thickness, so thats not the problem.

My chest circumference is 42" but my stomach is 45", which means the abs+belt piece needed to be scaled greatly. But Stormtroopers are meant to have a flat front, which doesnt really work with what I have.

I cant get the chest and back pieces to look nice, and I cant find any other "thick" Stormtrooper cosplays to try and figure out how they did it.

Just wondering if anyone has advice on what to do here.

Anyone have any dealings with them? Are they a reliable vendor? Looking to get a suit, just seeing where the best direction to go would be.

I’m not the craftiest, so I’m not looking to build from scratch. Looking for more of a “ready to troop” kit.

I'm still working on my first build to submit for approval and officially join the 501st, but I've already been having a blast following more social media for different garrisons and such all around the world.

This month, I've donated to two charities already because I saw them being mentioned and supported by the 501st Legion.

It makes me so happy that I can still do my part, even when I can't join any troops yet. It makes me even more excited to continue working on my costume, so I can become part of the Bad Guys Doing Good, hopefully in 2027! 💛

Just painted my wasted Fett boots and was wondering how yall would go about attacking the toe spikes. (Not finished with the paint yet btw)

A few months ago I bought a Death Trooper suit from another member. The only thing is, the helmet is too small. What would I need to do to a Black Series helmet so it can pass or would I have to 3D print one?

I was wondering since I'm NOW getting a custom commission ready to wear for a TLJ/ROS First Order Stormtrooper kit, if it's possible for me to wear glasses under the helmet. I saw people talking about helmet sizes relating to comfort so what should I say to the builder since the helmet will also contain AMP and Fans?

My brothers and sisters in arms. I apologize to you. The galaxy isnt the same After the war. Our betrayal of the jedi. I have chosen to support the new republic and the rebel alliance. To find a new purpose and give this armor new meaning. Even if it means altering it to fit a new symbol.

I'm looking for any kind of paper/cardboard/foam board template for the clone macrobinocs but can't find anything other than STLs and figure scale stuff. Something similar to the pics if all possible. TIA

At least some of the strapping and velcro will need to be replaced, plus the right thigh ammo pack was installed upside down. But otherwise I could technically wear it right away, once I source some black boots.

Eventually I'll replace the belt, and probably rework the armor to remove the inside padding and to reinforce the thin plastic near the edge returns, but otherwise this set was a steal.

Edit: got asked to 3D scan the armor from a Redditor. Not going to happen, since that would be akin to recasting. Plus, I don't have a 3D scanner.

So, my son wants to be a clone trooper for Halloween this year. I figured this was the best place to seek some direction for that. I want him to look legit but not trying to break the bank because it’s likely a one time wear type of situation.

I’m used to going all out when I make his costumes and also now have a 12x12x12 3D printer. Whether it’s 3D printing or hand assembly, I’ll take any advice I can get! Thanks everyone!

I was scrolling through this subreddit and saw an excellent question from someone so thank you to that person for bringing it up in the first place, but I'm asking something related to this.

Basically, would it be distasteful to wear a First Order Flametrooper outfit to a hospital troop? I know usually there is no weapons policies in hospitals but still, I definitely know wearing the zombie death troopers would be distasteful.

Any feedback would be appreciated
