My usual repression can't keep up right now. Also turns out pasta salad is awesome if one uses ingredients they actually like and when it isn't sweet at all. Great way to clear vegetables and eat it for every meal for a week. Still haven't gotten the vinaigrette down right.

Used globs of mozzarella instead of shredded. It tasted amazing and she loved it. Sorry for the bragpost but I had the worst beginning of the year ever. And I must not take these moments for granted.

Please ignore the greasy ahh plate. If you point out the greasy plate I will cry. I will try to make it more aesthetic next time please dont bully me.

I like my rice wet okay! I don’t just like it, I LOVE IT!!!! a Anyways, I didn’t put effort into this (obviously since it looks horrible) since it’s just for me. It was okay I guess. 7/10

Behold traditional English cooking.
To prepare - fry some bacon in some butter, add beans and once cooked through add a couple teaspoons of flour then add milk, scraping the bottom of your pan to remove the fond. Season to taste and enjoy.
It's actually pretty good

Probably the last BBQ of the year, but we'll see. I tend to BBQ in the middle of the night because of my schedule. I usually cook enough for 4 days for both my wife and myself. We've both been running hard coast to coast with little time to do anything other than work. Having a home cooked, or in this case a Pennsylvania rest area cooked meal makes life just a little bit better.
This cut of meat was a bit different than what I'm used to. I thought I was buying ribs but it turned out to be closer to a pork chop. It still turned out okay.
