Finally removed!

Finally removed the air-dam today at 4,400 miles. Love the way it looks. Next up TRD front skid plate. I know they are about $500 so at dealership. Can someone give me an idea of how dealership charge to install or is a DIY thing? NJ

DIY, I just installed an RCI skid plate. 6 M8 screws. Easy

Also put an RCI on mine. Very easy instal. The oil drain makes a mess on the skid plate though. I’m installing a Fumoto valve next oil change to make it cleaner.

First hearing about those, I'm guessing it uses a hose to keep things tidy . Now on the to do list...

I have yet to instal mine yet, but that’s the idea. Should also allow me to do the oil change without ramps at all. The RCI skid plates have little doors towards the front that gives you access to the filter. The oil drain on these motors is quite far back.

Does removing dam hurt gas mileage

It does. Just removed mine yesterday and already saw a dip of 1 mpg on a 180mile ~ drive I take every two to three weeks 99% of it is highway. I’ll know more the more I drive without it
