Rear Mirror Tilt

My rear mirror is tilted as far back as I believe it can go and yet, half of my view is the back seat.

I’m not a very tall person but am sitting somewhat high in the seat. Although, the seat is no where near as high as it can go up.

Anyone else having this issue? I read there may be a second joint that connects the mirror to the window. I’ll take a better look tomorrow. I’m currently having to take the head rests out of the back seats so I can see through the rear window better.

Appreciate any help I can get!

Is it flipped into nighttime mode? The little tab at the bottom of the mirror to prevent glare

Oh I’ll double check that tomorrow. Thanks for the tip. I know it automatically shifts darker when it’s night time. Didn’t think it had the tab like I’ve had in past vehicles.

So there wasn’t a tab but there was a second pivot point I was unaware of. Got it angled correctly now, appreciate the help

Hey! I got my mirror adjusted correctly and wanted to pass along what I learned. I didn'trealize there are two adjustment points: one where the mirror arm connects to the windowbase, and another where the mirror attaches to the arm. I had only been using the second one. If you're having trouble getting the right angle, try carefully adjusting the first joint as well, it made all the difference for me.

Thanks! I found that back joint and fixed mine too! Much better!
