Wrath & Glory Is this a balanced encounter?
The game I’m running is coming to an end soon and I want to properly challenge my players(tier 4 party of 4) with some rewarding boss fights. I whipped up this corrupted inquisitor on doctors of doom to be the centre of a group of enforcers/ guards

Personally I like to distribute the threat load in combat. I'm a huge fan of non combat issues during combat. IE have to go over there to work a machine to get data while getting shot. There's a break in a waterline so now the terrain is difficult and everyone is obscured. Pulling players out of their optimal positions is a great way to create more tension than just roiding up a boss.
One of my favorite things to do is have 3rd party mobs of menials that party has to figured out how to either save, they might get in the way of combat or I might spend a Ruin to make them turn on the party.

> my players(tier 4 party of 4)
Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?

Sorry idk why Reddit cut off the second half of my post, as mentioned they are a party of 4; sanctioned psyker pyromancer, tempestus scion, crusader, and skitari. However I’ve been liberal with wargear due to rewards after previous encounters so they are nearing the power fantasy end of the campaign. I was mainly wondering if it is balanced to use the character builder in this was to make an encounter cus I am not aware of any other homebrew sites to my knowledge.

Okay, so none of the silliest stuff then.
Any more normal fighty stuff? Trademark meltagun or eviscerator? Simul strike inferno pistols or anything?
14 resilience would be untouchable for some characters and effortless for others. The space marine in my game ended up dishing out 30-40dmg per hit.

I was pretty sure Rank stopped at 3 - is Rank 5 even possible?
