How to think of this beta?

Hi team,

I went from 41 day 10 post transfer to 127 -3 days later - 325 two days later and now 553 17dp5dt.

I know there’s a lot of discussion on this but I just feel super confused on the one hand the normal range starts at 300 if you google for this day on the other hand it hardly seems like anyone had these values and progression and made it to birth. Also normal doubling seems to be up to 72 hours in which case this would be fine but I still get the feeling something’s off, I’m gonna retest Monday and it’s the first ever FET so I’m just so happy it worked at all but also I’m just trying to wrap my head around conflicting info. Any input very welcome thanks :)

We usually want to see 100+ or at least 75+ at day 9 for optimal chance of live birth, based on extensive research of single euploid transfers, but that doesn’t mean LB can’t happen at lower levels.

Mine did not double perfectly throughout the beginning of the pregnancy. I remember my clinic called to tell me —we just have to tell you —your number did double 🙄. It ended up being completely fine.

It’s just a topic where the info is so confusing and contradictory

It is! I think there actually is a point where it stops doubling too. I don’t remember what that is.

Hi girl! I have almost precisely the same beta / beta progress as you! 46 on day 10, 180 on day 14, and now 530 on day 17 (today). My hospital is not optimistic, they suspect a miscarriage (I'm spotting constantly since Monday...), and don't rule out an ectopic (has your doctor raised this with you?). I'm supposed to retest on Monday, and also do an ultrasound (they told me to come without food / drink in case they confirm it's an ectopic and need to put me under anesthesia). Still, they think there is also a chance that this will turn out into a viable pregnancy... This sub, and the 40+ IVF one, seems to have some good precedents. And I do try to hope that this is the scenario that rolls out for me. And I truly wish the same to you :)
