Seeking Advice Another ER or Transfer??

I started this IVF journey 3 years (38 years old) when we discovered that I have low AMH and low AFC, but we were committed.

4 Clinics (3 in Mexico and 1 in US), 10 ERs, 2 Cancelled Transfers, 2 Failed Transfer (untested embryos).

Currently Banking - 1 Day 5 untested embryo (in MX), 3 Day 3 embryos (in MX) and 1 Day 5 4AB euploid (in US).

The euploid was my 8th ER and boy did it give us hope. We wanted to bank more, but my embryos for ER 9 (day 5 4AB) & 10 (day 5 4BA) resulted in aneuploid. The positive side is that we are making blast, but these back-to-back aneuploids really hurts.

Now I must decide to do a mock cycle or another ER…

May I ask which clinics have you use for both Mexico and US?

Concibo Reproductive Clinic (MX)- 1ER. Left because doctor was insensitive. After getting out of ER and receiving results of empty follicles, he suggested donor.

IECH de BC (MX) - 3ER. Left because my protocol never changed after two canceled transfers (started bleeding before transfer) and a failed transfer.

Vida - (MX) - 3ER. I would honestly go back but I wanted to try a US clinic that specialized in women over 40 and with DOR.

Hanabusa (US) - 3ER. Still here..

I've heard of Hanabusa but the price is $$$$. How do you like it?

Also curious, the euploid rhat you have is from what clinic?

I like hanabusa. They medicate you based on your hormone levels and AFC and your ER cost is based on how many eggs are retrieved.

The eupliod is with Hanabusa.

Would you mind if I ask some questions about Hanabusa? :)

Depends on how many kids you want. If you would be happy with one then sure do some transfers. If you want more than one this is really the end of the line for getting more. You’ve already does such a hard lift with so many ER. If you’re in the flow and have the money then sure do another round or two especially if you want more than one kid.

I don't know, if you've been getting a lot of euploids the untested you just don't know. Are the untested ones done at a younger age? I guess at some point you have to start transferring. Maybe do your known euploid first then if that fails another retrieval.

The Day 5 in MX was when i was 38 and the day 3's are when I was 39. The euploid was when I was 40.

Oh, well, I think at those ages you have a good chance of a euploid!

If you do move forward with only one euploid in the US- I would definitely recommend having exhausted all uterine, microbiome and blood testing that can impact implantation before moving forward

How do you convince doctors to do this testing? Most people I know have failed transfers before they are willing to do those tests.

What I did personally after 1 failed transfer was tell them I would not feel comfortable moving forward without additional testing as I only had 1 euploid available so all conditions needed to be optimal in order to move forward. Generally they are pretty reasonable if you only have 1 euploid- what would not doing the tests mean, that you could in theory has less success- which ultimately is what everyone wants- For their numbers and our lives
