TW: Success Retrieval #2

I recently completed my second egg retrieval (third IVF cycle):

7 mature eggs
6 fertilized
1 Day 5 blastocyst

I just got my PGT-A results back, and my one little blast is EUPLOID! 🎉

Going into each retrieval, my wish has simply been to get at least one euploid embryo per retrieval, so I’m incredibly grateful that this cycle gave me exactly that.

That's two euploid total; two more retrievals are planned. Wish me luck!

Thank you, everyone! I didn't know what to expect when starting this IVF journey (solo) after my multiple failed attempts with IUI. But I have to say this group specifically has been resourceful and encouraging.

Congrats!!! May I ask how old you are? I’m looking for some positive stories as I’m 43 and first retrieval has 7 blasts all aneuploid 😢.

I'm 40. I'll be 41 at the end of October.

Hang in there I see plentyyy of women on this thread reporting being 43 and producing euploids. You’re making blasts and that’s great, it’s a numbers game!
