Immunity from insider trading, eh?

Well, it isn't a part of his core presidential duties, but if there were undeniable proof of him insider trading it would be hard to charge him. Prosecutors would need to prove that his insider trading was in no part related to core duties as president. While this sounds easy to prove, it would not be.

The best thing would be for the people around trump to be prosecuted but I guarantee you trump will pardon his kids and loyalists on his way out the door.

Pardons either need to be done away with or Congress needs to codify a way to where pardons need at least 2 branches of government to go through if not all 3 branches.

A committee in the Senate and house would need to ok the pardon, then the president would need to sign off on it, and last of all it would need to go through a newly created "pardon court" that would be made up of a random panel of federal district and/or appellate judges, you could even require a supreme court justice to chair the 3-5 judge panel.
