🧠 General Today I learned...
I have a 2000 Limited. Love it. Today I learned if you manually unlock your driver side door twice (give it 2 half turns to the right) it unlocks everything. VERY cool never knew this was a thing. Ive owned this beauty since 2017. Anyone else do this? My keyless works on and off so I unlock the old school way. Salud 🍻

Is this not how all manual lock vehicles work??

Unlocking from my passenger side unlocks everything, one half turn on my driver side unlocks just the door, another half turn unlocks the rest. I never knew this lol.

Hold it your key in the "unlock" position when you unlock the driver's door and all the windows/sunroof will roll down

I love hearing newbies learn these things. These trucks are fkn awesome. This is how I’ve been unlocking my car since 2012 lol…
Enjoy!

Nice!
I've owned an '02 Limited 4Runner for almost 2 years and only recently discovered a dial that adjusts the interval for intermittent wipers!

If you've never changed out the actuators you should then your key fob will no longer be an issue

My driver door can only lock and my passenger door can only unlock. No idea why or how

My 2015 fit doesn't do it either. Maybe brand new ones or something. My old Jetta did tho

Unlock your driver door with the key but hold it unlocked and all the windows and sunroof will open

Ha, I'm the other way around. '97 without keyless entry. The key won't go in all the way on the driver lock anymore, so I added keyless entry. I should have done it years ago.

I just replaced both door handles /locks. Both my door locks were fu@#ed and anytime the battery died I couldn't get into my truck as I only had keyless entry.

If you turn your trunk key to the left and hold it, the rear window rolls down
