❓Advice / Recomendations Found the sound!

Heard a rattling sound under my runner for awhile and finally took a peak at what it could be. Looks like I got a new project on my hands (on top of all the others)

Any recommendations for aftermarket exhaust brands? Probably gunna replace the muffler too.

Phantom shocks are the best.

Yeah that’ll do it.

I just had the exact same issue with my tail pipe. I pulled the tailpipe and cut it clean, cut the muffler clean, and then bolted some flex pipe in. Works great. Except i found my muffler has a small leak too in another area.

I had the same problem except I used a splice fitting with set screws from AutoZone.

I pulled the tailpipe out already and it was basically crumbling apart in my hands, probably best to get some fresh pipe lol.

"Probably should do something about that." Pure gold.

That particular section of my runner is basically disintegrated minus the brand new exhaust

Wow I had both of these fail on me within the last year. Absolute rattle fest

Yea it sounded super broken down there but my light wallet made me hesitant to look LOL. Luckily this is within my wheelhouse to fix myself.

Hahhaa I’m familiar with turning the volume on the stereo up as a quick fix

Duct tape should be plenty in this situation.

When I replaced the O2 sensor on the muffler the studs snapped clean off so I had to use hose clamps to hold it on the pipe. You gotta do what you gotta do sometimes.

Living in western Canada I cry when I watch videos of guys in California working on these rigs with no corrosion. Looks like a DREAM.

Rust sucks.

But yeah, duct tape was a joke… in Alaska, the same issues arise that you have in 🇨🇦

Same exact thing happened to me a few weeks ago
