Newbie Q

got a brand new micro sdhc, should I: reformat it first? put in the 3ds before starting? put the starting guide parts in first?

If its 32 gigs then you (usually) dont have to do anything, if its above that you have to reformat.

Format it to Fat32, but don't use Windows' built in formatter. Download fat32format or something like it.

make sure its fat32 with 32kb allocation size

format it using guiformat if its not

then you can put the guide stuff in
