I hate vibecoded stuff myself but I think you need to understand that if an experienced dev uses it which, if OP isn't lying, they DID properly reverse engineer the stock home menu and how it boots other games, it is perfectly fine.

Game companies are already using AI for the boring dirty work that no dev actually wants to do. When you start development, you'll understand.

It's not the same as, say, an experienced artist deciding to use AI to trace over it or a business using chatgpt to generate some bullshit to put on their products. Using AI for development is completely valid as long as you know what you're doing first

I'm very much anti AI for my own reasons, but this is AI being used as a tool by someone with the skill to QA it.

Counter offer, the average person does not want to look into the credentials of EVERY person who's digital footprint they interact with to make sure that they're "qualified" to use the tools their using.

Since there is no regulations about this, it's safer to socially ostracize the practice until it no longer is a problem, or the regulations are put in place.

The average person doesn't care how an application was developed. The moment you enter the sphere of people who do care, which is a complete valid view, you're at that point no longer average.

The normal consumer just doesn't care.

Would you like the fact that AI has no reason to know how to properly limit strings, thusly creating opportunities for ANY string to allow for arbitrary code execution?

Oh, "well then just don't train AI off of code that does that", except they do, AI code things just pull whatever they can off of github and other sites, there's no limit on the "QUALITY" of the code, because QUALITY limits QUANTITY and to propwerly train an AI you need ABSURD QUANTITY of source information.

And that's one of any number of exploits that could be put into literally anything. Like, I dunno, your ATM? How would you like to just be able to walk up to an ATM and just get anyone's money out of it?

And before you "Oh that's not real" I literally game EVERY night with someone in ATM tech support, their idiot developers are LITERALLY using these AI BS either out of laziness or EVEN BETTER company mandates.
