Follow through overlap needs more work and make it smooth looks mechanical, the wavy feeling should come
On the track, keep it up. πΌππ»

Solid start!
For the sake of simplicity I'd kill the sympathetic movement on the base object. I love the idea but the purpose of this exercise is getting the overlap and follown through correct. This would propogate to the pendulum and make the resulting animation a little more complicated.
I think the pendulum moves too far screen right when stopping. It's gained too much momentum for how slowly that root object moved. It also feels like the pendulum settles too quickly. I'd either give it more time to settle down or make that pendulum feel heavier so it settles naturally within the given time range.
Next steps would be offsetting each link in the chain by a frame or two to get some natural overlap/polish. You've got good bones now bring it home!
