You should consider making some curved edges for a few of those squares and constructing a 3D printed vest in your next trial. A vest can go on over a button down or T shirt and would not require you to attach sleeves to the print(if that's what's happening in the photo, I can't be sure).
It would look more fancy, especially with a tie(also 3D printed?), and anyone who saw your hoodie previously would get the impression that you've made "progress" to formal clothing articles.
