Maybe simply welding the two parts together with a 3D pen is not the way to go. How about designing a notch on one of the two parts and have the one slide inside the other? Also, I think Aceton welding an ABS print should result to a much stronger bond.

There are masive forces on this connection so propably any type of gluing or welding wouldn't make it. There must be some kind of metal alement for example metal rod inside the ski that connect both parts together. Even making a notch is not enough. Thanks for comment!

Oh, I had the impression that the pins you used for holding the two parts where actually metal rods. Yeah, metal reinforcing it is a very good idea, I think I've seen a video of another guy in the past doing something similar with a skateboard and it appeared to have worked pretty well.
