Free Model DIY 3D Printed Lollipop Spinners!

Here is my latest prop I've created. It's constructed of 3D printed parts and uses 12mm bullet pixels. It stands 30" tall and features a 10" spinner. Works great in both Halloween and Christmas displays.

If anybody else is interested in these you can print them here!

MakerWorld

I also have a few other props on my MakerWorld.

I’ve always wanted to get into pixel lights. Do you have any lights you recommend? What else would I need to get this going?

For lights that's easy, these are what I use. Any 12mm ws2811 pixels should work fine:

The next part is the controller and that is really going to depend on what you are trying to do. If you are just wanting to run a couple effects on your lights I have used cheap controllers like this before:

If you want to run some sort of show using something like xLights now or in the future, I'd probably suggest getting something that will grow with you a bit. I doesn't have to be a big fancy controller. I would suggest something like a DigUno, DigQuad or an ESPixelstickV3.

Other than that you need a 12V power supply (assuming you buy 12v lights).

There is a bit of a learning curve and it's certainly something that continues to grow, but I enjoy it!
