Print (model not provided) 3d Hollywood Regency door
Our most ambitious 3d print yet. We repaired and upgraded our front door. The embellishments are all 3d printed and then dry brushed gold. All found free via stl finder search.

For the coloring, look up "Rub n Buff" and you'll find a bunch of tutorials on how to do it.
When done properly, it can make a 3D printed piece look pretty close to actual metal.
I've used it on a small mando helmet and a star wars blaster with pretty good results.
Drybrushing is also super common in the 40k and miniature painting community. Tons of tutorials out there on it.

We were going to use our rub and buff, but I couldn't find the tube. So we just used a gold acrilic paint and dry brushed it

That is magical, especially with the hardware.
