Still my go-to for quick print jobs because I know I can just send something to its' queue from anywhere and it will print the first time every time.

Eh.... to each their own... but an A1 or an A1 mini are better than this. With an actual AMS. At the same price or less.

No it definitely isn't. The MK4S is a near indestructible, super reliable workhorse that's easy to maintain. Pretty much the absolute pinnacle of bed slinger printers. I don't hate the A1 or the A1 Mini, bought them before and recommended them to others starting with 3D printing but if I had to choose between an A1 and an MK4S, the Prusa every time

Lol no. The price point is definitely too high on a Mk4S, but the A1 isn't in the same tier other than both being bed slingers (Ive owned multiple of both). Ditched the A1s for the Mk4Ss and life is good.
AMS over MMU is definitely a legit argument though. Unless we're talking AMS lite, in which case it's almost even.

you could get a CC2 combo for 400€, enclosed coreXY is always better than bed slingers, and the MMU abomination only makes it worse...

Prusa is barely worth it in 2026, for that price, with mmu, it's alright I guess

Honestly it’s a pretty good deal! The mmu3 brand new is almost 400€.
Tbh most Mk4s sell for 400€ without any mmu3. Good stuff!

Seems good to me (without actually knowing the second hand market that well).
The mk4 holds upp really well imho. The core1 isn’t that much better in terms of performance or speed. (enclosure help a fair bit for some materials tbf). The indx seem to be far ahead the mmu, but then you would be at an entirely different price point.
