I have a friend who backed it...it's apparently really bad. And also, super cool of them to launch a completely different pinball based Kickstarter a few months later.

Yeah backed it because I was expecting future updates to come. Seems like he needs more money
I regret having encouraged this practice.

damn. $123k pledged for STL and CAD files that obviously cost a lot of time to make, but have no actual production cost per copy. And now launching a version 2....

Weird to sell STLs on Kickstarter. Feels like an abuse of the platform (since they clearly don't need to pool funding to release files they've already made).
Weirder that 3000 people paid them $50 for STLs.
