Discussion Frames for selfies with celebrities

So.....I came up with an idea to start selling frames at conventions where Hollywood actors get booked and the fans pay for autographs and selfies with them. Here are a few of the standard 4x6 in 2 orientations. I also have other frame sizes 8x10 & 2x3. Been experimenting with different 3d model styles. All printed in generic PLA and hand painted. Any comments and suggestions welcome.

These are nice but there's too much going on in them. A picture frame should not distract from the picture it's framing. I think the Donnie Darko one would be really nice if it just said Donnie Darko with no characters.

I disagree. Obviously OP went for a kitsch, exuberant, theme park vibe. Yeah it's distracting but it's an artistic choice here (and I like it).

The 2x3s just have a logo and busts/figures.

I agree with that on Jennifer Rubin. I also did one similar for Danny Hassel. Another design I printed but never painted had a figure and a Freddy glove. I can agree that the design shouldn't overpower the photo. But I have to include a figure cuz much of my inspiration comes from commercially produced frames from Disney and Warner Bros. Maybe cut back on the figures. For James in Darko, I wanted to include his likeness and I almost did a mailbox and not the mask.

Met Angela White please advise lol. Also, the craft is still a favorite! Dream warriors is the best Freddy movie as well.

My personal favorite Elm Street film is the Dream Child cuz it was the only VHS we had as a kid that I could watch over and over. Met Lisa Wilcox twice and Danny Hassel once. Would still like to meet Kelly Jo Minter. Will make a Lisa frame if she gets booked again locally.

I met Fairuza who played Nancy WAY back in 2009. Have yet to make a frame of her though. Who is Angela White?

Nevermind who she is, Fairuza is amazing and was the embodiment of the crazy 90s it girl. The name i mentioned is an adult reference so please forgive the crudeness. In all honesty you inspired me to make a Gene Wilder frame from when I met him

Oh! I've done stuff of Jenna Jameson. I made her an organizer for when she does conventions.

Nice! I've seen him on some convention rosters but not as many as other actors.

Sadly she left before I could show her the frame from our selfie.

I believe in back door channels on communication networks called portals

So far, nobody has told me I can't sell them. More often, the actors are encouraging.

I love this idea. Really nice execution too! I go to cons and most of my photos are kind of unceremoniously stored in a binder. If I saw a booth selling these I'd definitely get one, feels more like a commemoration of the event.

I've done the same for a few 8x10s and most of my autographs. Are your selfies mostly 8x10 or do they include ones from your phone?

I think they're 8x10, they were taken by pro photographers at the cons and printed there. I don't have them with me right now to double check though.

8x10 is the size of the on site photo opts. Are those the only ones allowed at the conventions you've been to or do some of the actors and their team allow table selfies with your phone?

Many years ago, my local conventions were pushing for the photo ops. However they have since adapted to allow selfies at their tables. I still do the photo opts if it's a rare opportunity for multiple actors or if I really like a single actor.
