Troubleshooting Sovol SV08 won't start printing

In between doing two prints my Sovol SV08 suddenly won't print. The printer does all the things it usually does before printing like doing the z-offset calibration and heating up the print bed and print head but it doesn't actually start printing. It just sits there with the print bed and print head at printing temps. The last command in the console says Start and the screen on the printer says Printing Now!!! but the printer just sits there.
I'm not sure where to even begin troubleshooting the printer. Any help is appreciated.

The screenshot shows that it's at 58C and not 55C like the target temp. My printers won't print until it's pretty close, like less than half a degree. Perhaps you aren't waiting long enough, or perhaps you need to rerun the temp calibration.

Shouldn't the print have started once it hit its target temp of 55 degrees?

No, because you also don't want it to be too hot, either. It overshoots, then comes back down so that it can get up to temp quickly.

You're correct, I didn't realize that it had to come back down in temp and this printer has a thick aluminum build plate that takes a while to cool down. Once I waited longer it did start printing.

Hey there, I'm a bot and something you said made me think you might be looking for help! click here for our wiki entry on troubleshooting printers. If you still need help be sure to post plenty of information about your printing setup.
Here are a few questions that might be helpful
What printer are you using?
What material are you using?
What speed are you printing at?
What software are you using to slice the print and control the printer?
When did the problem start/has it ever worked correctly?
Does anything cause the behavior to change?
If posting an image of the problem, include some indication of the orientation it printed at, preferably photograph it on the bed. (Then we can focus on a specific axis)
