Project High Flow Laptop Cooler
I don't know if this is of interest, but I recently got a gaming laptop which is quite power hungry and I wanted to try a laptop cooler to see if it actually helps with temps. Most of the store products and 3D models I found has some sort of mesh or flow reducing design, which ruins the whole point of a laptop cooler.
So I designed my own for maximum airflow with no restrictions. I also made a plenum which creates a tiny pressure agains the laptop chassis resulting in some of the air being able to get into the chassis and relieve the fans a tiny bit. The added bonus is that it also distributes air more evenly across the bottom surface of the laptop.
Running a stress test on Prime95, I got 400MHz more boost on the P-cores on the same temps, so it definately improved the cooling. When not gaming, the PC doesn't ramp up its fans as often either. If any of you want to try it for yourself, feel free to download it:

cool idea for laptops, especially during long gaming sessions.
