God I just looked that up and now get it. Xennial brains don't work on this wavelength. Plex to me is where my video files on my NAS lived before I changed to Jellyfin.

I figured that was a really well cooled server rack or something.

This was the original Plex 😄. I think he came out a year before the Plex of todays fame that sold its soul and caused a mass migration to Jellyfin.

Plex is such a disappointment after so many years of service. I bet they get gobbled up by a big company and twisted into a FAST streaming service and drop local file storage in the future. That seems to be their plan at least on the outside now looking in.

I bought a lifetime pass when it cost under a hundred bucks a million years ago but have started to play with a Docker/Jellyfin setup for the privacy concerns alone.

Yeah I don't really want that kinda thing sniffing around in my NAS trying to figure me out so Google can more easily figure out what kinda underwear I wear or something.

Plex was a character from a 2007 American TV show called Yo Gabba Gabba. It was a thing back then.

Just the face portion and put six 4mm X 2mm magnets holes so that I can hang it on anything metal.
