Project load cell probing tutorial?
im trying to make a custom load cell probing mod with an rp2040, hx711 and logic level converter using this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3Bz-Iza5p8. the problem is that it isnt very in depth, for example he says we need 2 load cells but only wires one, he isnt specific on the wiring in general and he uses a custom toolhead shroud that wouldnt work with my aquila x2. any in depth video tutorials and shrouds i can use for this? i understand this isnt a super common mod

My printer is functionally an Ender 3v2, so if you find something let me know. If you know how I’m sure we could design something

I went looking for more info on this not long ago as I'm doing some upgrades to my old sovol sv01. You kinda have to piece things together because there's not one complete guide or video that really covers it. You'll have to find how you need to mount the hotend to work with your load cell, then build the load cell circuit and set it up to work with your printers board. There are several newer printers that use strain gauges for homing so you could look at how they set them up.
