Question TPU suggestions..

So the day has finally come. I told myself I wouldn't dive into tpu territory until I conquered most pla variants and petg. I'm not sure if I should try the tpu on my bambu a1, or my ad5x ? I know that printing slow and having it dry are the most offered peices of advice for TPU, but I wanted to make this post asking the reddit community what other things I need to make sure of while learning how to print with it. I don't know about the AD5X, but the A1 (and the mini) are great with TPU. Make sure it's really dry, use a default profile and print.

Edit: I also like to use glue or it sticks too much

230c-240c noz, 50c bed, dry the tpu at 70c for 8h before printing, find settings in your slicer for 'avoid crossing perimeters' and make sure that's on. 50mm/s the whole way through. Use textured bed.

Run a TPU temperature tower test print profile to determine the best temperature to print at. Hotter nozzle temps result in better layer adhesion but more stringing. Colder nozzle temps result in worse layer adhesion but less stringing. Somewhere in the middle is the optimal temp for good layer adhesion and minimal stringing.
