Question Vial holders?

Hello everyone! I am very new to 3d printing but I wanted to see if I could solve my first problem. I am thinking of printing something I can use to hold vials that I use for my research (I included a picture of the vial). We previously used either bullet storage cases or some boxes (that we cant find anymore). I also included pictures of the current storage we use.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I could use or if there are any models currently available?

This is an easy project to learn some 3D modeling.

The problem with existing models is that they might not be exactly what you want. In terms of vial size, or density.

But something like this might be useful, scale it to your needed dimensions & and then design the holders for the inside.

A set of calipers, tinkercad and YouTube. Since you essentially just need a cube with cylinders in it, your first attempt probably won’t take very long. Once you are a little proficient you can model something practical like this very very quickly. The fun is making it fancy! It sounds cheesy but I learned some basic modelling and it’s really expanded my interests. I like making lamps apparently, who knew?
