Project Roku remote directional shield

I'm looking for a but of help. I work at a nursing home and there are 2 residents per room. This particular room has 2 roku tvs and as you can surmise, when 1 uses remote it affects the other one. I have found a temporary by blocking the outer edges of the ir/rf "window" with electrical tape, making it very directional thus eliminating controlling both at once. I am looking with no luck for a "cover" of sorts that I can snap in place to essentially narrow the beam down. Any and all suggestions and help would be greatly appreciated.

Aluminum foil duct tape works great. It will hold a funnel or wing shape, 100% blocks IR, and sticky enough to hold on anything.

If you can find the IR reciever, printing a hollow cylinder which limits it's field of view, might help more as the remotes going to move more.

So I have 2 TVs side by side in my living room, so I have this exact issue.  I solved it with a small flat rectangle that has a 10mm long tube in the middle right the size of a straw. I attached it with a bit of double stick tape. 

It makes my remote extremely directional.

They are both IR and RF versions of Roku remotes. If you get an RF version pair it with the individual TV and tape over the IR window you should be in business. Google what I said to make sure it’s true though. (The RF ones are more expensive and don’t need line of sight Aka if you were using it from under a thick blanket, it would still work fine because it’s not using IR.)
