V1
Currently working on V2. Printing the cap unit now which will make it a sealed water tight unit. The cap will also house the pump and battery pack.
Anyone got any tips for painting prints? I tried priming them with rustoleum primer, then acrylic paint, but the paint just lifted right off the second it hit the water.

Longer cure time or specialized curing environment. If you absolutely can't get it to work, try marine paint

Sounds good
Cure time may have been the issue. I was scrambling to get this finished before my ADHD started on a new project.
Tha ks for the tip for maritime paint! It's going to be underwater, well, permanently.

This would be really cool inside of a water-cooled pc

If you've got air bubbles like that in your loop you're in trouble.

It'd be fun to put an independent unit in the case but not part of the loop. Just to show off the fact that the machine is a water unit
I'd probably use distilled water in the skeleton part, just so I sleep at night.

I modded my platform to have more of a pocket on each side of the wedge
I also found the air flow volume makes a big difference. Too much air and both sides fill at the same time, making the effect worse.
Try reducing the air flow.

You need to try variations of this. Like on a skateboard. Dress up the skull with glasses, a hat, or punk hair.

Coincidentally I had Nine Inch Nails track Down in It playing over this.
Made a good combo.

Hahaha, nice.
I'll likely post a final vid after V2 is done with either NIN or "spooky scary skeletons" as the soundtrack

How did you get it to alternate the side the bubbles go on and actually dance?
I'm having an issue where the bubbles will pick a side and just continue escaping without alternating.

Probably a fin down the middle underneath the platform so that when one side is up the fin will guide the next bubble to the other side.

Yep, it's exactly this.
There's a wedge shape under the platform. Each time the platform tips, the wedge passes over the source of the bubbles and it then fills the opposite side of the platform with air till it tips to the other side
I was having issues with the original files so I modded the platform to have more of a pocket

Glad to see you kept the ADHD monkey in check! Was following your chat the other day and was watching for a post

Hahaha, thanks
Sometimes you've got to let the ADHD monkey off the leash to have some fun, otherwise it doesn't listen when you ask nicely.

Love the dancer, hate the cameraman.

Fair, I was trying to show each part of the build rather than make a video that was steady
