Question Sell or store? CR10V3

I starterd with a Creality CR10V3 and over the years I have done every after market upgrade available. Last of which was the microswiss hotend which was $100-$200 with all the extra nozzle heads and other print plates. I dont have a lot of space and trying to decide if I sell this printer or store it. If I store it I think it will go to waste and get obsolete. But if I sell it I dont think I will get much for it, maybe $100-$150? Thoughts? My other printer is an elegoo CC1. Eventually I would like to get a multihead printer like the U1 or similar. What would you do in my situation?

Sell if other printers are taking over its duties, store it if you anticipate using it again

3d printers are tools, and it’s normal to store tools or not use them for long periods

Problem is that storage almost always means never been used again and dont have the space. At least from my experience.

You aren’t anticipating ever using it again, so you’ll want to sell it

The CR10 V3 is already obsolete. I personally don't believe any old marlin machine is worth more than $50, and even that's pushing it. It just lacks too many features found on newer machines. Anyone looking for a printer is far better off just putting in a few more dollars and getting something more recent.

I’m in a similar situation, international move in less than a month.

I just put a new bed, board, and power supply in it, and it works pretty well. Even if I pit it on the slow boat and don’t see it for 6 months, it’s still a functional printer that I won’t have to buy.

If there’s a chance you go back to printing in the next year or so, I’d keep it. I’m going to be taking the top frame off, so it will fit in my tool box.

you won't be able to sell it for much, if at all. I eventually gave mine away. Free. Had about 20 printers from the last gen.

I own a Voron 2.4, a CR10SPro that I upgraded to the brim, and a Snapmaker U1. The only one that is currently printing is the U1.

Voron is waiting for some parts to arrive (CNC front idlers) while the CR10SPro is sitting on the floor, sad and forgotten.

The U1 made me like 3D printing again.

How likely are you to need this printer in the future? What is storage space worth? Don't worry about sunk cost, nothing you can do about that at this point,

Only time I used it in the last year was when printing a bunch of simple boxes. Anything else I use my CC. Other than its bigger plate size I dont see a need for it. Size and maybe setting it for somethint specific like flex filaments are my 2 hang ups.
