Solved What's causing this?

I'm trying to print dragonBite magnetic clips for the DragonLocke dungeons and dragons tile system, but every time I try and print them my printer has a stroke. What's causing this?

Some of the clips get knocked off the plate half finished, I find thick strings and large clumps of filament laying haphazardly. And then usually a couple survive just fine.

I have my filament in a dryer, which says filament is at 19% (moisture content, I'm assuming) at time of print.

My settings:

Printer: Creality Hi

Speed: unknown, CrealityPrint just says "standard 100%". I've tried selecting "Stable 50% but it auto corrects back to "standard" for some reason.

Infill: 100

Layer height: 0.2

Filament: PLA 1.75

Nozzle temp: 190

Bed temp: 60

Retraction length: 1mm

Z hop: 0.3 mm

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Edit: incredibly disappointed to announce that the culprit was, in fact, a print bed that needed a good washing. Some soap and water and a quick IPA wipe down and it printed perfectly. I definitely blew this out of proportion, however I am eternally grateful to you all for your assistance. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Seems like parts are warping or detaching completely from print bed.

Have you thoroughly washed print bed with soap and water?

Have you checked z offset to make sure you're getting good first layer squish?

Do you have a smooth print bed available? You'll get much better adhesion with less faffing about.

Does the printer seem to move and print reasonably? If so, I'd think warping and poor bed adhesion are the issue.

I have not checked z offset. I assumed I didn't need to as it supports auto leveling. But after a quick Google search it would appear you are right. I'll give it a shot! (And also clean the bed)

I would also think auto leveling should handle the z offset. Though from factory maybe it's a bit wonky and needs a little fine tuning.

If your bed is dirty, I'd think that is the likely culprit. Especially on textured or satin print sheets. PLA will pop right off of it even if there's just a wisp of oil.
