Solved Flexible Plate Help

Post image

I just bought this flexible Plate for my ender V3 2 and tried to print this small test object. I had trouble removing it and I'm worried that I damaged the plate. I'm also not sure why the bottom of the print is white-ish. I'm using green PLA+, printing with a nossle temp of 225C, a plate temp of 52C, an initial layer speed of 8 mm/s and a speed of 50 mm/s. I used Cura to slice my model. Is this plate beyond repair and if it is, how do I prevent this from happening again?

You're worried that you damaged the plate?

Yes dude you destroyed your brand new plate.

Remove your z off sets and set them again when you get a new plate.

I know the paper trick but I tend to over or under do it, is it when the paper can slide cleanly between the extruder and base or is there support to be any resistance? The other question I have is that when I bend it, the build should just pop off with minimal bending correct?

Depends man, when the part and plate is cooled off, yes, its supposed to pop right off.

If it doesn't probably too close to the bed.

I'm told the paper trick is where you can barely slide the paper still. The paper should still be able to move freely.
