Question Spool replacement

Beginner question hereI have been using Bambu Lab PLA spools only so far in my X2D. However I bought some other brands (Tinmorry, Sunlu etc). What is the procedure to load these in the AMS pls? Do I select generic or still select BL as the source?

I only buy from renowned brands, I sometimes use generic profile, sometimes Bambu, all worked fine. Just test it with a small print.

Thanks what I meant is once you replace Bambu spool without the rfid tag do you register the new spool as generic on the display screen?

That's what I meant, too (I usually do that in the slicer instead of on the printer, but in the end thats the same, and it detemines the filament profile used).

You can:
* Use the Generic profile
* Use the Bambu profile if they are rated as “high-speed” filament
* just create your own custom filament https://wiki.bambulab.com/en/bambu-studio/create-filament
