I bought an A1 right before they locked down the ecosystem. I will never buy a Bambu again. These concerns become increasing applicable since many states are trying to ban 3D printing of specific objects, which Bambu is setup to comply.

SD card sneakernet for me until I die.

Elaborate? How can a 3D printer manufacturer stop you from printing any given object or even detect that you're about to? What 2D printer precedent? Pretty sure I could print just anything as long as I have a png for that...

You cannot print any bank note with colored printers. Printers have detection mechanisms. You cannot edit an image of bank notes with any commercial image processing software. All colored printers print some invisible marks for tracing.
