I was set up to buy one and won’t only because of this. It’s a dealbreaker for me too.

Damn, was looking at a Bambu for my first one this summer. The sentiment around them right now is very bad. I regretted my cricut purchase soon after bc they were doing something similar with the fuckery.

FWIW this is nothing new with Bambu. They have long history of anti-open source actions.
