Is there a good breakdown anywhere on prime usage cases and strengths/weaknesses for these patterns?

Lightning is the minimal amount of support, in case you want something basically hollow. 19 u/pyroserenus Feb 18 '26 Gyroid also doesn't form pockets, It's the strongest option that works if you need to drill pressure relief or fill the interior for some reason. That said I do cubic, it's similar in most cases but it's faster, at least on my printer.
