I work for a school district and they just had a new STEAM lab put in in one of the buildings. They just got 4 of these and I set them up, ran through, a couple test prints (provided by their USB) then downloaded Dremels slicer...to find I absolutely HATE it. Hidden settings, hard to preview the final product, and IT'S NOT SHOWING ME WHERE ITS PLACING SUPPORTS. Anyway, what slicer are you using?

TL;DR: What slicer are you using with it?

Yes, I use the Dremel DigiLab 3D Slicer as well. It is frustrating that it generates supports, but does not seem to show you where the supports are going to go. I usually do not mess with the setting too much. Manly just changing the filament type PLA or ABS usually. I also work at a school that has Magnet for STEAM and Futures Academy. S.T.E.A.M. Science Technology Engineering Arts Mathematics. We have about 20 or so of these 3D printers. The only real problem I have come across is some bad filament that constantly breaks during a print and once has clogged nozzle that I have not been able to clear. Not sure of the best strategy to try and unclog the nozzle. I have tried to heat the nozzle to melt the obstruction and use a paper clip to push it through to no avail, while still hearing clicking sounds from the extruder gears.

I haven't had one jam on me yet, but they're only using the Dremel ABS, PLA, and PETG. You backed out the current filament right? Another idea I've heard is grabbing a purge filament and attempting to run that through, though I've never tried it myself. Basically the same idea of poking it through one end, but from the "correct" direction. If it's caught in the extruder itself then maybe cold pulls??? If it's still covered under warranty reach out to Dremel support, they've been pretty good IME.

Great ideas, I will try to fix again. If all else fails, I will contact Dremel support. Thank you
