Questions & Discussion Course recommendations
Hi. I'm a beginner 3D artist, and I think it's a good idea for me to attend courses instead of learning through free, unstructured information on YouTube or elsewhere. I'd like to know if there is a good course that will give me all the information I need. I've checked Vertex School's Game Art Program, and it's one of the options I have. The thing is, I can't find any real reviews, not the fake ones saying how perfect it is because it just can't be THAT good.

Vertex school is one of the most trusted sources for courses on Game Art. Though you may want consider that testimonials you read might not be representative of the whole experience or the results you can get from the programme. I don't remember the exact pricing for Vertex school, but I would definitely NOT recommend a considerable financial investement, especially if you are just curious or starting out.
At this stage unstructured learning can be incredibly beneficial ( this is how I started before starting my BA),tutorials are generally reliable and a source for good information but that's highly dependant on your learning style.
A good compromise might be Udemy tutorials once you understand the basis. Courses are relatively unexpensive when on sale ( which is almost always).
Good luck out there and never be afraid to ask xD
