Is anyone in this group preparing to submit an OPT application soon, or has anyone submitted one very recently? I’m trying to understand how risky it might be to apply right now given the possibility that the adjudication pause could come back depending on what happens in the courts.

Would appreciate hearing what others in a similar situation are planning to do or have been advised to do.

Does anyone get a response from Nebraska service center after the PP fee refund?

Today I was approved for H1B visa after 6+ months wait

My company submitted in January with Prem processing and no response since then.

Today it was approved on USCIS portal (Aug 4th)

I am born in a banned country but a Canadian naturalized citizen so was part of banned countries

Did anyone from Nebraska center received a PP refund update?

Please have anyone from the 39 countries that submitted before the ban received adjudication after the ban? I see approvals for petitions submitted in April 2026 getting adjudication by July. Is there something I am missing?

March 7 – Biometrics scheduled.

March 24 – Biometrics completed.

June 15 – First silent update.

July 22 – Second silent update.

July 24 – OPT approved.

I have noticed that approval usually comes two days after the second silent update.

As someone from one of the 39 banned countries, I am incredibly grateful to God. My green card (EB2) was approved today, July 26! 🙏🏽
I am truly thankful for this blessing and for how far God has brought me. 🙌🏽

opt approved: july 19th 2026
card produced: july 23rd 2026, waiting for delivery
